First photogram
(2005)University Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands. After 2.5 hrs of build-up our endeavour gains 3 dimensional shape. Pinhole tent 2x2 m floor-space, 2.5 m height. Expected exposure time: 24 hours. Tuesday, January 25th 2005, 9 days before we leave for China. A series of exposures will be made that will be re-exposed later in parallel nows. Ongoing.
Enschede-Quanzhou
(2005)With the current aperture, a time of 24 hours is an appropriate exposure. 12 hours in The Netherlands, 12 in China.
Enschede-Xiamen
(2005)Materializer makes the Netherlands half of the exposure by himself. We leave for China in 6 days.
artist-in-residence project Altrecht
(2005)An invitation by Agata Zwierzynska takes us on a one-week project to Altrecht, a psychiatric institution in Den Dolder with 11 other artists.
Sign - Noorderlicht 2005
(2005)In Galerie Sign, Groningen, we built a lounge inside a pinhole camera during the Noorderlicht Foto Manifestatie 2005. Each weekend is a lounge running on top of photopaper that covers the floor. The resulting photogram is on display during the week.
